In collaboration with the Association of Croatian Studies Students Idiom, participants of the Rijeka School of Croatian Studies programme translated into their first languages two poems by Dragutin Tadijanović – Dugo u noć, u zimsku bijelu noć (Long into the Night, into the White Winter Night) and Stope u snijegu (Footprints in the Snow). The translations were completed in December 2015 by students at the C1 level of Croatian as a second and foreign language. The translation into Polish was done by Joanna Zakrzewska, Zuzanna Piecha, Michał Talaczek, Aleksander Nałęcz, and Martyna Staśko. The translation into Ukrainian by Viktorija Fedorchuk, and into Italian by Riccardo Fausti. The translation into Hungarian was done by Zsuzsanna Chilf, Krisztina Németh, and Laura Tislerics, while into German by Tinka Betzler.
