for applications for enrollment in the lifelong learning program

LEARNING CROATIAN AS A SECOND AND FOREIGN LANGUAGE

INTENSIVE CROATIAN LANGUAGE COURSE

One of the features of today’s society is global mobility, driven by professional, educational, or existential reasons, which makes acquiring the language of the host country an important aspect of social integration. The internationalization of the Croatian education system at all levels must therefore also include learning Croatian as a second/foreign language.

The program is designed for participants who wish to learn the Croatian language and develop their communicative competence in Croatian as a second/foreign language.

Participants may enroll at the beginner, intermediate, or advanced level. The course is taught by experienced teachers of Croatian as a second or foreign language.

The planned start of the program is October 2025. years. The exact start date and class schedule will be communicated to participants after the application deadline, and before enrollment in the program.

The program consists of 60 teaching hours (2×2 teaching hours per week during the semester), and it concludes with a successfully passed exam.

Upon completing the program, participants receive a certificate of completion for the lifelong learning program Intensive Croatian Language Course and earn 4 ECTS credits.

The enrollment fee is €350 per participant.

Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply under equal conditions.

Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications with the proofs of meeting the requirements must be submitted by September 25, 2025.

Only those who submit timely and complete applications (containing all required information) will be considered as applicants for this public call.
